With almost twenty years of professional experience in the finance industry in Africa, prior to joining Mediterrania Capital Partners, Pacôme collaborated with La TULIPE Group, an Africa focused Independent Advisory and Investment Banking Firm strategically positioned service Buy Side Clients among Private and Corporate Sector Organisations, Institutional Investors, Family Offices, and Governments. Pacôme also worked at the leading Pan African Insurance and banking conglomerate NSIA as Group Head Investments right after having spent merely seven years at UBA Group at Management level in different business lines and divisions from Securities Services to Credit Underwriting via an experience in core wholesale banking.
Pacôme was privileged to be part of the pioneer executive management team of the West African Stock Exchange (BRVM – Bourse Régionale des Valeurs Mobilières) as CFO; then, the Central Securities Depository and Settlement Bank (DC/BR – Dépositaire Central/Banque de Règlement) as Head Operations and Business Development within the WAEMU regional capital market. He joined these financial institutions for nine years after a financial auditor experience with two of the “Big Four” (Ernst & Young, Arthur Andersen representation offices in West Africa).
Nowadays, as Senior Director Pacôme handles business development and brand representation of Mediterrania Capital Partners in Sub-Saharan Africa. Hence he is responsible for identifying new investment opportunities and driving financial and risk analysis of potential projects in the targeted countries and markets. He is also in charge of the legal processes and negotiations related to new investments, for the monitoring of Mediterrania Capital Partners’ portfolio companies in the region as well as for the exit strategies.
Pacôme is a graduate from the business school ESLSCA, Paris, France; and holds the post-graduate Specialized Master Audit and Consulting from ESCP-AP from Paris, France. He speaks English, French and Spanish.
